Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the PickupX website (pickupxpert.com), the PickupX customer app and the PickupX Partner driver app (together, the "Service"), operated by LetsInvent Ventures LLP ("PickupX", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What PickupX does

PickupX is a technology platform that connects people who want to send goods within a city ("Customers") with independent vehicle owners and drivers ("Drivers") who carry them. Drivers are independent service providers and not employees of PickupX.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and give a valid Indian mobile number. You log in with a one-time password (OTP).
• Keep your phone and OTPs private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Drivers must provide true identity and vehicle documents (Aadhaar, PAN, vehicle RC, driving licence where applicable) and a live selfie. We may approve, reject or suspend a Driver account after verification or for breaking these terms.
• You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your account.

3. Bookings and fares

• The fare is calculated from the vehicle type and the road distance between pickup and drop, and is shown before you confirm a booking.
• Customers pay the fare to the Driver in cash at the end of the trip unless another payment method is offered in the app.
• Waiting time, extra stops, tolls or loading help beyond what was booked may be charged as agreed with the Driver or shown in the app.
• Trips are started and completed with one-time codes (START and END OTP) that the Customer shares with the Driver at pickup and delivery. Share them only with your Driver.

5. What you may not send

You must not book the Service to carry: illegal goods; drugs or narcotics; weapons, ammunition or explosives; flammable, toxic, corrosive or other hazardous materials; gas cylinders; cash, jewellery, bullion or other high-value items; live animals; human remains; or anything prohibited by law. Drivers may refuse any item they believe is unsafe or prohibited. You are responsible for packing your goods safely and for the accuracy of what you declare.

6. Drivers' obligations

• Hold a valid licence, registration, insurance and permits for the vehicle, and follow traffic laws.
• Handle goods with care, deliver only to the drop location booked, and complete trips only with the Customer's codes.
• Pay the platform fee on completed trips by the due date shown in the app. Overdue fees can stop you from going online until they are paid.

7. Liability

We work to keep the Service safe and reliable, but we do not guarantee that a vehicle will always be available or that a trip will be completed on time. To the extent the law allows, PickupX's liability for any trip is limited to the fare paid for that trip, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Goods are carried at the Customer's risk unless the loss or damage is caused by the Driver's proven negligence; any claim must be raised with us within 48 hours of the trip.

8. Ratings and conduct

Treat Drivers, Customers and our support team with respect. Abusive behaviour, fraud, misuse of the app or false ratings can lead to suspension.

9. Privacy

How we collect and use your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have jurisdiction.
